If I Were a Bird

If I were a bird,

I’ll be of the color beige, and;

I’ll not be the one in the cage.

I’ll soar high in the sky,

Up above all heads I’ll fly.

If I were a bird,

I would love to lead a peaceful life, and;

stay away from nasty animals of all sizes.

How happy I’ll be, oh little me!

if I remain a bird free,

I will play with all animals who give me love,

whether a brave lion or a beautiful dove.

If I were a bird,

I’ll live with my family,

on a  tree, very happily, and;

nothing will harm me,

not even a calamity..

How I wish, I were a bird.
